蘋果iPhone 6S系列今天(10日)凌晨亮相，雖然外形變化不大，但內建處理器、相機畫素都大幅提升，堪稱是蘋果史上最先進的手機。儘管市場認為「沒驚喜」，導致蘋果股價走軟，但分析師認為，蘋果iPhone 6S依舊是市場最期待的手機，預估第四季銷售量會較去年略微提升，台廠供應鏈也會跟著受惠。
蘋果公司凌晨發表新款手機iPhone 6S和iPhone 6S Plus，蘋果執行長庫克(Tim Cook)指出，新手機雖看來似曾相識，但骨子裡的一切全改變，號稱是「歷來最先進的iPhone」，儘管市場認為「沒驚喜家電」，導致蘋果股價走軟，但分析師認為，將再刺激一波蘋果換機潮。
資策會產業情報研究所(MIC)指出，目前持有iPhone 5S的消費者仍多，新手機將勾起果粉換機欲望，雖不會有大幅換機潮，但銷售量應會較去年第四季略微提升或持平。MIC產業分析師韓文堯說：『(原音)要跟去年維持應該是不會有任何問題的，像本季的話目前是7千到8千萬台左右，跟去年同期是平盤到略微提升的表現，略微提升有一個原因是大陸納入首波發表，所以擴大上市國家用戶數的基礎。』
分析師也指出，新iPhone不管是在鏡頭、3D觸控新功能、處理器等效能都大幅提升，讓台灣廠商如大力光、台積電、鴻海等大廠跟著受惠，雖有部分零組件被其他國家廠商吃下，但台灣的技術、產品良率高，目前看來影響不大。
至於下半年新手機包括三星Note 5、索尼4K螢幕新機Z5 premium，接連問世，下半年「機皇」會是誰？分析師認為，蘋果iPhone 6S依舊是市場最期待的手機，銷量鐵定會遙遙領先。
不過，隨著智慧型手機市場趨於飽和，分析師指出，今年應該是智慧型手機市場維持2位數成長的最後一年，明年將出現個位數成長。
